Founded in 2022, Outhemud Basketball has quickly established themselves as one of the premier development and exposure basketball programs in Canada. 

Led by Professional Basketball Player and National Team Player Ykealo Araia(Coach Kiwi), OTM teams are taught how to think, play, and understand the game on a deeper level. Coach Kiwi believes a basketball player’s foundation should be effort based, and puts a precedent on defense. 

In order for a player to thrive at the next level, they must be able to guard other elite players, and show hunger and desire out there on the court. Playing both sides of the ball, both offensively and defensively, at a high level, is crucial in getting a player to the next level snd thriving.

OTM believes in taking its players to the best tournaments in North America to compete against the best players and get a taste of what is really out there in the basketball world. In order to be a professional basketball player, you need to beat the best, which in turn will get the attention of the best schools for scholarships, and help give our players the best chance of getting to the professional level someday.
